ODMHA/ODHA Officiating Program

The Ottawa District Minor Hockey Association has announced that the Ottawa Junior 67's will play host to 2010 Ontario Bantam Championships. The 67's, as hosts will be joined by one other OEMHL AAA league member team, champions from Alliance Ontario, Greater Toronto Hockey League, Ontario Minor Hockey Association and the Northern Ontario Hockey Association. The championships will be played from March 22-27, 2010 and will be played at the Bell Sensplex.

A committee for the Officiating body has been formed and now is currently accepting applications for both Referee and Linesman for the championships. The Officiating program will be conducting a program comparable to the Telus Cup championships held here just recently. The program will consist of an application phase, supervision, testing both written and dry land, several local tournaments and AAA season. As the championship grows closer the applicants will be reduced in numbers until we have the final team that will officiate the championships. This opportunity is open to all qualified Officials within the ODMHA.
